Snuff-Back Devices
A Snuff-back device can solve the common problem with dispensing grease,
oozing from the nozzle after dispense. The cause of the oozing may be any of
a variety of problems, but often the simple solution is the addition of a
snuff-back device next to the nozzle. For more infomation, read:
Why Snuff-back?

Snuff-back device, panel mountable, 9:1 boost ratio, has .075 cubic
inch (1.2 cc)of snuff-back, air operated with 1/4 NPTF inlet and outlet.
Air Inlet is 1/4" Tube push-lock. Mounted with two 1/4" SHCS or with 1/4"
NPT fittings. This snuff-back device is spring return and requires a
3-way NC air valve for operation.

Snuff-back device, panel and inline mountable, 9:1 boost ratio, has
.024 cubic inch (.40 cc) of snuff-back, air operated with 1/4 NPTF inlet
and outlet. Air Inlet is 5/32" Tube push-lock and includes needle valve
for piston velocity control. Mounted with two 1/4" SHCS or with 1/8" NPT
fittings. This snuff-back device is spring return and requires a 3-way NC
air valve for operation.

Snuff-back grease gun, 9:1 boost ratio, has .075 cubic inch (1.2 cc) of snuff-back,
air operated with 1/4 NPTF grease inlet. The grease outlet is a 1/4" O.D. stainless
steel tube to be used as an extrusion nozzle. Air Inlet is 1/4" Tube push-lock.
Snuff-back device is spring return and requires a 3-way NC air valve for operation.
It has a plastic pistol grip handle with an electronic trigger to be used as an input
to initiate dispense cycle. It is designed to be fed with metered grease from a separate
dispenser within three feet. Requires 1850 cord to connect trigger to PLC.

Snuff-back Device. It has .0047 cubic inch (.077 cc) of snuff-back,
Has 1/8" NPT inlet and outlet ports. It can be mounted with two #10 SHCS
and operates with a 3 way NC air valve. Air inlet port is 10-32 with push-lock
fitting for use with 5/32" O.D. tubing. It can be operated with the same
valve as the dispenser that feeds it. Designed for individual mounting or
stacking side by side, for convenient mounting close to the dispense point(s).

Includes two 10-32 air ports for operation with a 4-way air valve. Grease ports are 1/8 NPT female.
