GREASE RESERVOIR PUMPS

G.P. Reeves Reservoir Pumps help decrease downtime by holding enough grease in an on-board reservoir to carry the process through while the grease source (barrel, pail or tote) is being changed. They also include G.P. Reeves patented Air-Purge technology to reject grease containing air, sending only tested airless grease to the dispensing process. The APGP models are for intermittent operation, where they can reload and test the grease during non-dispensing times (part unload/load cycles etc). The GUS units are capable of providing a continuous flow of tested airless grease. All of the units provide a complete solution for grease preparation in a production greasing environment.

GUS - Grease Uniterruptible Source GUS1000

Grease Uninterruptible Source removes air from grease and facilitates continued operation during grease supply (tote, canister, drum or pail) interruptions. GUS1000 has a 1049 cc inlet grease reservoir, and a 49 cc outlet grease accumulator with a 25 to 1 boost ratio. GUS1000 is controlled by an integral microprocessor and requires 120 v.a.c. 50/60 Hz and compressed air for operation. Grease inlet and outlet port size is SAE 8 (1/2"). GUS1000 is recommended for systems with average grease usage of 12 cc per minute or less.

GUS - Grease Uniterruptible Source GUS1012

Grease Uninterruptible Source with integral microprocessor removes air from grease and facilitates continuous operation even during cartridge changes. GUS1012 has two PCART2000 (14.5 oz. cartridge type) grease reservoirs, automatic changeover from one cartridge to the other when one is empty, a 12 cc outlet grease accumulator with a 6 to 1 boost ratio, and functions with NLGI 000 to 2 grease. GUS1012 is controlled by an integral microprocessor and requires 120 v.a.c. 50/60 Hz and compressed air for operation. Grease outlet port size is SAE 6 (3/8"). GUS1012 can be used for systems averaging 20 cc per minute when not more than 60% of grease from cartridges contains air or for 30 cc per minute systems when not more than 40% of grease from cartridges contains air. At 30 cc per minute, the 12cc accumulator will facilitate continued operation for 24 seconds if a cartridge contains a large air bubble and the 428cc capacity of each cartridge will necessitate a cartridge change every 14 minutes.

GUS1027

Grease Uninterruptible Source removes air from grease and facilitates continuous operation even during grease source changes. GUS1027 does not have an inlet grease reservoir but can be connected directly to 1000 to 3000 PSI Grease Pressure. This GUS has a 115 cc outlet grease accumulator with a 1.8 to 1 boost ratio and functions with NLGI 000 to 2 grease. This GUS requires 120 VAC and compressed air for operation. It includes a microprocessor with operator interface. This GUS is designed for systems averaging 2 cc per minute when not more than 80% of grease contains air and at that usage its output accumulator can facilitate continued dispensing for up to 57 minutes if the grease source is being changed. This GUS also includes a 420 micron filter and ball valve.
