The OP-41A is an Opco, KLS, Madison-Kipp, Lubriquip, and Graco conveyor
lubricator that has been sold for many years, but may soon be discontinued.
How does the OP-41A compare with a Lube Logic® SS6000 lubricator?
Both lubricators require compressed air and electricity for operation.
Both lubricators are for enclosed track conveyors such as Richards-Wilcox, Rapid Industries,
Jervis B. Webb Unibilt, Pacline, Lauyans, and Allied.

One gallon reservoir without a float switch and without a red light to indicate low level.
Two gallon reservoir includes a float switch and a red light to indicate when the reservoir level is low.
Reservoir doesn't include fittings to facilitate later use with an automatic fill system
Fittings on reservoir allow an automatic fill system to be used
Opco instructions specify 150 to 1500 SUS (SAE 10 through SAE 50 crankcase oil).
This doesn't include any of the dry-film lubricants that are as thin as mineral spirits.
Will squirt ISO 2 (dry-film) through ISO 100 (SAE30) lubricants.
This includes as thin as mineral spirits to SAE30 crank case viscosity lubricants.
Controlled by a 1000 hour timer that requires expensive wiring to conveyor motor starter
to recognize conveyor run time instead of just power on time.
Without that wiring, re-lubrication can occur regardless of conveyor run time.
Controlled by a microprocessor that counts chain circuits.
This lubricator can be wired to any convenient 120/240 v.a.c. 50/60 Hz power source and
conveyor operation (and speed) will be automatically recognized by the microprocessor controller.
Actuated by roller cam air valve that contacts the chain wheel and will wear and require replacement.
Actuated by inductive proximity sensor that doesn't contact the chain. Not for use with plastic wheels.
Mounting options are limited because it operates "left to right" only. Note the arrow in the photo.
Operates in both directions for mounting freedom.
Lubricator has 5 nozzles.
Shot volume at each nozzle is fixed at 0.00225 cubic inches (0.0369 cc).
There are no adjustments for shot volume.
Lubricator has 5 nozzles. Shot volume at each nozzle is adjustable from 0.015 to 0.03 cc.
This feature allows the lubricator to be adjusted to place less oil on the chain pins and side links than on the wheels.
Nozzles are just open ended tubes without check valves at their tips
Each nozzle has a check valve and a precision orifice at its tip.
Manual adjustment is required to "re-time" nozzle ejections when conveyor speed changes.
Automatic electronic adjustment "re-times" nozzle ejections to place lubricant in specified
locations regardless of conveyor speed variations.

Recently manufactured by Graco as #OP-41A

G.P. Reeves makes great conveyor lubricators with features that Opco never had.
Auto-speed shot placement.
The lubricator recognizes conveyor speed and automatically places the lubricant
in the correct locations on the moving conveyor components regardless of conveyor
speed.
Check valve at each nozzle.
Each nozzle has a check valve located as close to its tip as possible to eliminate
dripping. Having only one nozzle tip downstream of each check valve is an
essential factor in eliminating dripping.
Adjustable positive displacement dispensers.
The lubricator will have an adjustable positive displacement measuring dispenser
for each lubrication point or lubrication area to accommodate the different
lubrication requirements of wheels and universal joints.
Dispenses “all“ lubricants.
The lubricator will function with all lubricants within the wide viscosity range
of ISO 2 to ISO 100. In layman’s terms these are the viscosities of mineral
spirits and SAE 30 crankcase oil respectively.
